Embracing the large presence of pub culture held by
the two nations, Fair Play is nationwide, modernised,
pop culture based pub quiz for Gen Z Irish and English
people in order to help integrate Irish people who
have recently migrated to England.
BRIEF
Over the last decade, there has been a sharp fall in the proportion of UK residents who take pride in Britain’s achievements. Create the new Brand Britain to create a kingdom united.
PROBLEM
The Irish have had a significant and lasting impact on Britain, both historically and culturally. However the number of Irish-born people living in England and Wales fell by 20% between 2011 and 2021,
the lowest record since the 1930s. Many Irish people come to
England and use it as a springboard, viewing England as a short
term place of residence.
GOAL
Create an event or platform that allows young Irish people who
have recently relocated to Britain, to meet new people and
integrate into British society, whilst feeling a sense of belonging
and cultural acknowledgment.
